Throttle Cables
Equipped with aluminum fittings and aluminum ferrule to eliminate fraying. “U-Cut-To-Fit” outer housing is available in 24” or 36” lengths with a “U-cut-To-Fit” stainless inner wire. Clevis is designed without cotter pins or set screws. Adapts to factory and aftermarket pedals. Custom lengths available upon request.
Blower Drive Cables
Blower Drive Cables are designed to operate with BDS linkage, Enderle linkage and Weiand linkage for side mounted carburetors. “U-Cut-To-Fit” outer housing is available in 24” or 36” lengths with a “U-Cut-To-Fit” stainless inner wire. Blower Throttle Cables come complete with stainless mounting bracket and rod end. Kickdowns are designed with the same quality as our carbureted app. And are available for all trans. Hi-Tech Tuned-Port Throttle Cables, Kickdowns & Brackets
Lokar’s Tuned-Port Throttle Cable, Kickdown and Bracket work together as a complete system. The billet aluminum bracket mounts to the side of the Tuned-Port plenum. The billet aluminum bracket is available with a single stud for throttle only; double stud for throttle and kickdown, and triple stud for a throttle, kickdown and cruise control cable. Tuned-Port throttle cables and kickdowns are designed with the same quality as our carbureted applications. Each item is sold separately. Cable bracket fits both early and late throttle bodies.
Stainless Steel Hi-Tech Kickdown Kits
Stainless Steel Hi-tech Kickdown Kits are not to be confused with ordinary brake hoses. Kickdowns are adaptable for all types of manifolds including tunnel ram, blower manifold and Weber induction.
Stainless Steel Throttle Cable Bracket & Springs
Stainless bracket mounts to rear of Holley, Edelbrock, AFB, Quadrajet and In-Line dual Quad carbs. Stainless bracket and GM designed dual stainless springs are used to mount Lokar’s throttle cable and kickdown assemblies. Design provides improved clearance on Edelbrock carbs. Design now includes tension screw to prevent bracket from movement under extreme pressure on a kickdown cable, such as with 700-R4 transmission.
