SLIDING HOOD CADDY
The prop rod slides up and down as you open and close your hood. In the up position, the prop rod locks with a thumbscrew so the hood can't fall or be knocked over. This also prevents the wind from knocking your hood over. Rods are made from stainless with aluminum polished ends. Available for '28-'36 cars with three-piece hoods and '37-'38 Fords. $119.95 EACH
POLISHED CADDIES FOR 4-PIECE HOODS
These caddies mount to the upper corners of the firewall with two stainless steel studs and will hold both sides of the hood up on most cars with four-piece hoods. They feature aluminum bodies with stainless steel arms. The spring-loaded arms pull out and lock in the up and down positions. Caddies for four-piece hoods are available in polished finish with vinyl covers on the arms. $54.95 EACH
STEEL SINGLE OPENING HOOD LATCH
These kits give you the ability to choose which side you prefer to open simply by rotating a few parts to make is right or left opening or the entire top can be removed easily. Kit allows you to trim to fit. State year and model of car when ordering. $279.95 EACH (36” OR 42”)
HOOD BRACE KITS
Some hoods may benefit from reinforcing when a hinge/latch kit is installed. Two types of braces are available. Steel braces are made from 3/8" cold-rolled steel and have slotted mounting pads. Satin finish aluminum braces are machined from aluminum plate stock (not a casting) and feature machined cut-out holes for lightening and visual enhancement. Screws and instructions are included. $75.00 STEEL BRACES - $139.95 ALUMINUM BRACES.
DOUBLE-OPENING HOOD HINGE/LATCH KIT
Allow access to either side of the engine. Made from satin-finished alum, the hinge kit adds a pleasing appearance to the engine compartment. All pull rods (one for each side) are stainless steel, with alum. Pull knobs for each side under the dash.

When wired to the ignition switch, it signals a light or beeper to remind you to latch your hood. 36” and 42” lengths allow you to trim to fit.
