Power to Manual Steering Conversion Kits for GM Passenger Cars

A great way to go if you want to shed 28 lbs. and free up some extra horsepower. We only use the 525 box. The Vega 140 steering box is not adequate for mid-size cars. Each conversion kit contains a 525 box, pitman arm and half rag joint. Quick ratio steering boxes are also available.

Brand new OEM and blueprinted units are available. The 525 steering box is a stout unit that has withstood the test of time. GM started producing this box in the 50’s and still uses versions of it for production vehicles today. The 525 steering box is available with a 1”or a 3-1/2” long input shaft with 16:1 or 24:1 steering ratios. All steering boxes have a 3-year warranty. Reversed boxes are also available.
